About Mary
| Since early childhood, Mary has had an insatiable need to capture and record the special moments in life - from the awe of nature to the unique essence of an individual's personality - to create a visual diary. A professional photographer for over 25 years, Mary attended Paier School of Art in Hamden, Ct, where she studied creative photography and photojournalism. She has won several awards for her work. In addition to running Mary Johnson Photography, she works in a local studio where she has won critical and popular acclaim for her portrait photography. She also worked as a freelance photographer for local newspapers where she visually documented late breaking news, political, civic and sports activities. Her business, Mary Johnson Photography, grew out of a rising demand for her unique style of traditional and photo journalistic wedding photography and children's portraiture. Mary Johnson Photography offers the most cutting edge techniques in photography from 35mm to digital enhancement and the latest advancements in lighting. Her specialities include weddings, children portraits, pets, modeling portfolios, still life, scenic and photojournalism. |
